The winery, built in 1855, is located between Fariñas Street and Plaza de las Siete Revueltas, a privileged place for growing manzanillas. Located in the oldest part of the Lower Neighborhood of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, right at the foot of its “ravine”, this town is located in the heart of the historic Regina-Fariñas / Carmen Viejo-Alcoba / Bolsa-Trasbolsa winery axis.

The building is preserved exactly the same as in the 19th century, with Tarifa flagstones on its streets and albero on its floors. The centuries-old boots rest on oyster stone shoals and are protected by high wooden ceilings, which help maintain a stable temperature throughout the year.

The characteristics of the winery and its special location allow optimal development of the flower veil, achieving perpetual biological aging that maintains its vigor even on the hottest days of summer and the coldest of winter. This gives the wines a unique quality.

All the wines are raised and aged by hand in century-old American oak barrels, following the old Sanlúcar winery procedures. The wines are racked “by jug and canoe”, taken by hand and bottled in branch, “from boot to bottle”.

These natural wines have not been subjected to industrial treatments or procedures, which allows them to be enjoyed in all their dimensions. They constitute a true return to the sensations of yesteryear.
