Chiclana´s most important building from the Baroque era. Built between 1667 and 1674, thanks to benefactors from Cádiz who donated part of their wealth acquired from trade relations with America.

Inside, the chuch´s focal points are the Baroque altarpieces (17th and 18th centuries) and the statue of Jesus the Nazarene at the main altarpiece. Outside, the façade has a Baroque portico, of Genoese origin and carved in Carrara marblestone, one of the most beautiful ones in the province.

At the Convent, the cloistered nuns of the Agustinian Recollection Order, make their famous almond torts.
