REGULATING COUNCIL – TRAINING CLASSROOM

Description

The protection of the Denominations of Origin “Jerez-Xérès-Sherry” and “Manzanilla – Sanlúcar de Barrameda” is legally entrusted to the Regulating Council.

The Regulating Council has a “private” character given that it represents the private interests of all the winegrowers and wineries registered in the Denominations, but also a “public” character as it acts as a delegate of the Administration in a series of matters directly related to the management and protection of a public asset such as the Denomination of Origin.

The Training Classroom is both a cultural and academic project fruit of the promotional function of the Regulating Council, whose objective is to promote the culture of the wines and vinegar of the Jerez Region and thus increase their international profile.

The Training Classroom is a meeting point for professionals of the wine industry, journalists, students and enthusiasts who wish to deepen their knowledge of the protected products.
