Description
Delgado Zuleta is one of the oldest bodegas in the Jerez Region, founded in 1744 by Don Francisco Gil de Ledesma and located in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, near Doñana.
Its prestigious Manzanillas, amongst these the famed La Goya and Barbiana, are aged under the influence of the River Guadalquivir, the Marisma wetlands and the Atlantic Ocean, all combining to provide the ideal microclimate. Brimming with tradition and culture, Bodega Delgado Zuleta rises majestically above a garden of vineyards to delight its visitors, where they learn first-hand about winegrowing in the Jerez Region.
Whilst touring the bodega visitors receive a detailed description of how sherry, and in particular Manzanilla, is produced.
In addition, with its Wine Interpretation Centre, unique in the region, Delgado Zuleta opens its doors to a new concept of bodega tour, where sherry can be enjoyed with all the senses.
