Description
The municipal area of Sanlúcar covers an extensive nature reserve that forms a part of the environmental area of Doñana, but in this case of free access, consisting of two extensive biological areas.
One is the Bonanza marshes where diverse birdlife of the area can be observed. The other is the Pinar de La Algaida, a forest of stone pines that stands on a stable system of fossil dunes. In this area we find the Tarelo artificial lagoon where an observatory has been installed for birdwatchers, as well as the Cerro del Águila Trail.
