The Barbadillo Manzanilla Museum is housed in an early 19th century building forming part of the Bodegas de Barbadillo facilities, standing opposite the Castle of Santiago in the historic district of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. A typical 800 square metre Andalusian house built on two floors around a central patio that includes the following spaces:

Ground floor:

  • Visitor Reception Area
  • Tasting Area
  • Wine and Souvenir Shop

First Floor:

  • Museum
  • Projection Room

The museum contains displays related to all the aspects and stages of winemaking; from the vineyard, through the ageing process and ending with bottling and sale. Similarly, it bears witness to the evolution of Manzanilla throughout history and the unique relationship of the Barbadillo family with the sector.
