The Rancho Cortesano Honey Museum not only gathers honey from its 2,000 colonies of bees scattered around the hillsides and mountains of the province of Cádiz, but also shares the secrets of one of the oldest craft professions: that of the beekeeper.

The Museum allows visitors to participate in a variety of experiences, such as an exhibition on the history of honey, visit to a bee colony in the middle of a eucalyptus grove, attend workshops, an audio-visual and meeting room, glass covered courtyard with beehives, vegetable garden and restaurant.

The ranch is a quality rural and tourist resource, where visitors learn about the therapeutic uses of products from the hive, discovering key factors that connect these fascinating insects in perfect harmony with the rest of nature.

The Huerto Restaurant aims to increase awareness of the direct relationship that exists between food produce, nature and the environment. It is important to know, defend and value the origin of food to be able to choose healthy options that are free from contamination.
