TABERNA DER GUERRITA

Description

Taberna der Guerrita is a tavern and tasting room in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. In 2008 the third generation of the Guerrita family equipped the tavern with a dynamic, contemporary space where wine is the protagonist.

Located in Sanlúcar’s Barrio Bajo, hidden away since 1978, it introduces visitors to the essence of the wines of Sanlúcar, Jerez and El Puerto in the pure, popular fashion. Inside the tavern more than forty years of history are reflected in its irregular walls, old bullfight posters, aromas of old wine and flamenco by the great masters. The backroom is a tasting room, with seating for seventeen.

A little further along we find the bodega/wine shop with a selection of 200 different wines both from the region and from the rest of Andalusia. And there is still a fourth space dedicated to painting and photography exhibitions where, from time to time, somebody with good taste and duende has been known to play the guitar or sing.

A space, therefore, to discover and enjoy wine from the Jerez Region, and its people too.
