The history of Bodega Díez Mérito dates back over two hundred years and runs parallel to the history of the sherries and brandies of Jerez. The firm preserves one of the most emblematic Bodegas in Jerez: the Bertemati Bodega, a majestic building dating from 1730 that takes its name from one of its first owners: the Marquis of Misa.

Its superb location in the centre of Jerez, its vaulted roof and splendid arches make it a magnificent setting for the ageing and “crianza” of its exquisite sherries and brandies.

Visits to the bodega include a tour of its patios, gardens and areas where you can immerse yourself in the history of the ageing and “crianza” of the sherries and brandies of Jerez. You can appreciate the aroma and sensorial characteristics of one of the oldest wines in the world: the prestigious Fino Imperial, whose system of criaderas and solera date back to 1876

Furthermore, the bodega possesses several different spaces ideal for the celebration of all types of event: product presentations, banquets, gala dinners, conferences, etc…

It also has two courtyards of different sizes, a vaulted hall that seats 300, a sacristia and gardens of French design.
