Description

Almost a decade ago this family-owned bodega decided to go against existing trends and opt for the production of signature wines in a region dominated by the growing of white grapes. After the immediate success of their brands Garum, Samaruco and Petit Verdot, they set out to achieve new challenges including wine aged underwater in amphoras and have managed to produce signature wines using neglected regional grape varieties such as Tintilla and Palomino Negro.

The Vistahermosa estate and its 25 hectares of vineyard, located in Pago el Corchuelo, perfectly reflects the desired balance between the traditional and the contemporary. A typical Jerez vineyard-house built in 1844 coexists with a glass-fronted structure of contemporary design in accordance with the new concepts of innovative wine-making in Jerez. A complex created with wine tourism in mind, designed to educate the visitor in the whole wine-making process, from grape to glass, starting off with the vineyard.

A passion for the vineyard has led to the development of an interpretation centre where visitors can discover the 20 best known grape varieties in the world whilst a member of staff guides them through the wine-making process.
