Bodegas Halcón (previously Bodegas Marqués de San Gil) is strategically located in the historic centre of Lebrija, its extensive area delimited by the old Almohad city walls and the monumental Santa María de la Oliva church, overlooking Plaza de América.

Although the first references to the Casa-Bodega date back to the eighteenth century, it was in the mid-nineteenth century that the bodega buildings were reformed and acquired their current configuration.

This bodega, facing towards Sanlúcar de Barrameda and close to Coto de Doñana, is where the long, slow ageing process takes place for their Finos, Amontillados, Olorosos, Creams and sweet wines, following the traditional biological and oxidative ageing system of criaderas and soleras. Some of its most popular brands are Amontillado Bigotillo, Cream Conchita and Fino El Marqués.

Visits to Bodegas Halcón provide the opportunity to enjoy its history, Andalusian patios and magnificent gardens, whose essence is intertwined with the deep, centenarian aromas of the bodega. Tradition and history unite in its ancient casks, educate the young wine and convert it, over time, into fortified wines of extraordinary quality.
