Cortijo de Jara is the name under which the products of a family dedicated to the concept of traditional agriculture are commercialized, a family who wish to provide consumers with healthy, natural products.

Vines and olive groves occupy a large extension of the Jara estate with its old cortijo farmhouse, named Xara in the times of King Alfonso X. Despite the development of its own agricultural methods, the fundamental structure has tried to be maintained, with no more additions than those necessary to comply with its new purpose.

The grape varieties chosen to seed the vineyard (Tempranillo, Merlot and Syrah) produce exceptional quality without being subject to brusque climatic changes and the quality of its yield is constant. Its harvests are in integrated production, subject to intense control of the use of pesticides. Its red wines are certified by the Geographic Indication Vinos de la Tierra de Cádiz. Its whites, of the Gewurztraminer variety, combine quality with originality.

The existence of 110 hectares of olive groves and the chance to taste their oil are yet another reason to visit. In addition, they have a shop in calle Medina where their products can be tasted and purchased.
