A WALK WITH MAGALLANES AND ELCANO

The culmination of the First Round-the-World Voyage was one of the greatest naval feats in history. A fascinating journey begun by Ferdinand Magellan and completed by Juan Sebastián Elcano.

Sanlúcar was, together with Seville, the port of departure and arrival of an unprecedented journey.

We will visit the city of Sanlúcar where we will see the monuments that were related to that voyage and to the trade that existed at that time with the New World, discovered by Christopher Columbus twenty-five years before. We will discover one of the most important episodes in the history of Sanlúcar and of humanity.

After the visit we will exchange impressions with a glass of manzanilla in a wine office on Mar street.
