TENIDIOMAS

Description

Tenidiomas is a language school that has been successfully organizing Spanish language tuition for foreigners in Jerez since 1985, its courses accredited by the Instituto Cervantes. Years of working hand in hand with the major wineries in Jerez led us to create our unique wine-specific course for non-Spanish speakers: The Language of Sherry and Brandy.

Focusing directly on sherry-speak, participants study the vocabulary and expressions used to describe the different stages of the sherry production process and tasting sessions that include key expressions in its mother tongue: Spanish. The course combines classroom-based vocabulary sessions and workshops with visits to different bodegas and vineyards where students put their new-found knowledge of Spanish to practice, returning home with an additional life skill to amaze their friends and workmates.

Tenidiomas also organizes language courses for individuals and school groups who wish to practice and improve their language skills, combining their course with guided cultural visits to the surrounding area. The school stands in the historic city centre of Jerez, within easy reach of the main architectural and cultural heritage sites of the city.
